    Job Description:

     

    The Business Intelligence Analyst will assist the credit analytics team by providing support to the existing reporting structure, while also developing new reports based on the business, department, and user needs. The Business Intelligence Analyst will also be responsible for creating monthly and yearly trend reports, performance dashboards, and data analytics for the credit team. This Position will ensure reports and analyses are validated with the highest level of accuracy and will be reporting to the SVP of the department.

     

    Essential Job Functions:

     

     

    • Ability to transform verbal direction and business requirements into meaningful reports and/or dashboards, and compile data for metrics analysis and ad hoc projects
    • Ability to query data from SQL databases, large datasets, and files using SAS and/or SQL
    • Ability to build insightful solutions to complex problems and questions, and present the results in visually and engaging reports and dashboards using SAS and/or Microsoft products
    • Ability to engage in IT and database resources to understand data architecture and processes to ensure accuracy of reporting
    • Ability to research reporting variances or business issues to identify root cause and build appropriate audits
    • Ability to present reports and dashboards to management

     

    Job Qualifications:

     

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Mathematics
    • 3 – 5 years of previous experience
    • Credit/Risk Experience desired
    • SAS programming experience required
    • Experience in creating performance reports using SAS, SQL, and Microsoft Office tools
    • Demonstrated experience producing accurate and detailed work on multiple projects under time pressure
    • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills desired
    • Experience in a financial or banking environment preferred
