    In addition to a base salary, our business development position includes an uncapped commission component, so you are in control of your overall compensation.

    • Prospect, acquire, and onboard new equipment dealers, primarily in the Office Furniture and HVAC/R market, with the objective of building relationships and generating sales.
    • Achieve a minimum of 40-50 outbound calls daily
    • Manage existing Dealer relationships through cosultative selling
    • Develop and maintain accurate data in client database
    • Deliver professional presentations to prospective customers on how to use financing to sell more equipment, and grow their business, primarily through webinars
    • Willing to occasionally travel as needed to support and acquire customers at industry tradeshows, open-house, or customer buying events
    • Interface with our credit department and gather additional credit info to assist with end-user applications
    • Interface with Dealers and End-Users to provide pricing, benefits, promotions, and answer questions
    • Achieve monthly sales volume, profitability and account management goals
    • Lives the Marlin values; involved in cross functional team efforts as required and assigned.


    • 4+ years of sales experience
    • Self-driven with an entrepreneurial spirit
    • Inside sales experience in an outbound call environment preferred
    • A drive and desire to achieve high compensation
    • Customer service focus and a professional approach to building B2B relationships.
    • Leasing and financing related experience a huge plus
    • Undergraduate degree preferred



    • Self-motivated with ability to function independently.
    • Polished and professional presentation skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to cold call, as well as ask for referrals and recommendations to warm-up leads.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Sales Force
